Kristen writes for SB Nation D.C. and Federal Baseball, while also serving as a Community Manager for SB Nation. Kristen has covered the Washington Nationals and other visiting MLB clubs for MASNsports.com and MLB.com. While working for WebStrong Group, a now defunct PR and technology firm, Kristen also handled the day-to-day media and PR affairs of the Mid-Atlantic Sports Network (MASN). A Pennsylvania native, Kristen graduated from Mercyhurst College and earned her Master’s degree from Catholic University of America. Despite her Pittsburgh roots, she adopted some of DC's teams upon arriving in 2005. She continues to cheer for the Steelers, the Nationals and the Pitt Panthers, as well as a random assortment of her favorite MLB stars.
