Brad Mills-US PRESSWIRE

London Fletcher, Pierre Garcon and Brandon Meriweather all missed practice on Thursday because of various injuries.

Three members of the Washington Redskins did not practice on Thursday, as the Redskins prepare to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 8.

Linebacker London Fletcher did not participate because of injuries to his hamstring and head. Fletcher was reportedly having issues with balance on Wednesday, which could suggest he suffered a concussion. After being held out of Thursday's practice, it seems likely that the Redskins will err on the side of caution with their linebacker.

Redskins safety Brandon Meriweather did not participate because of a knee injury. Meriweather has yet to make his season debut, and is targeting Week 9 for his return. Meriweather has been dealing with a knee injury since early September.

Wide receiver Pierre Garcon has a plantar-plate tear in his second toe, and did not participate in Thursday's practice. Garcon has just eight catches on the year, coming in three contests. It looks likely that Garcon will miss Washington's Week 8 date with the Steelers.

Cornerbacks Cedric Griffin, Josh Wilson, and David Jones, defensive end Doug Worthington, fullback Darrel Young and punter Sav Rocca were full participants in practice.
