George Mason Vs. Delaware Final Score: Patriots Fall To Blue Hens 65-60

The George Mason Patriots were hoping to extend their six-game winning streak to seven heading to face the Delaware Blue Hens. Unfortunately for George Mason, the team got off to a rough start trailing the Blue Hens 32-24 at halftime. Despite a rally in the final minute of the game, George Mason just couldn't muster enough offense in the second half of the game to come back to lose 65-60.

Ryan Pearson led the way for George Mason picking up 25 points with 8 rebounds, but outside of Pearson George Mason couldn't get much offense going. Sherrod Wright added 12 points off the bench while Mike Morrison also added 11 points. For Delaware, Kyle Anderson was able to put up 21 points and 4 rebounds. Devon Saddler and Jamelle Hagins both picked up 13 points for Delaware, while Hagins added 9 rebounds with Saddler picking up 7.

George Mason Vs. Delaware: Patriots Take On Struggling Blue Hens

The George Mason patriots will be looking to extend their six game winning streak on Wednesday night when they head north through Maryland and into Delaware to face the Blue Hens. The game starts at 7 pm.

Mason have won 11 of their last 12 games and should be favored pretty heavily over Delaware which has had it's fair share of struggles this season. They sit at just 9-12 and have lost five of the last seven they've played in the month of January.

George Mason has a difficult time scoring the basketball, but the Blue Hens make them look like the mid-2000's Phoenix Suns. They rank 202nd in the Nation in points per game with just 66.9 points per game. They are, somewhat surprisingly, one of the better rebounding teams in the Nation, so it will be important for the Patriots to keep them off the glass.
