George Washington hosts a hot Loyola-Maryland team that has won six straight games.
The George Washington Colonials look to bounce back from a disappointing finish at the BB&T Classic when they take on surging Loyola-Maryland at the Charles E. Smith Center in downtown Washington D.C. Tip time is scheduled for 7 p.m.
The Colonials are coming off a 75-60 loss to Virginia Commonwealth in the BB&T Classic, which dropped them to 4-3 on the season. All three losses have come to strong teams, but none of them have been especially competitive. Loyola, meanwhile, has thrived under coach Jimmy Pastos, winning six in a row after a season-opening loss to Wake Forest. They are off to a 2-0 start in the MAAC, with wins over Marist and Siena. This will not be an easy contest for the Colonials.
Here is everything you need to know about the game.
