Rhode Island Vs. George Washington: Both Teams Look For First Conference Win

The Washington Colonials look to pick up their first A10 win of the season as they host the Rhode Island Rams.

The George Washington Colonials are set to host the Rhode Island Rams as both teams look to pick up their first A10 win of the season. George Washington is looking to halt a two game losing streak after finally snapping their seven game losing streak back on New Year's Eve. Rhode Island on the other hand looks to bounce back from a loss to Richmond and get their season on the right track.

Last March, the Colonials picked up a victory over the Rams to push their all-time record against Rhode Island to 27-24. Through the series with Rhode Island, George Washington holds a 13-9 record at home, last losing to the Rams at home in January of 2009. In order to beat the Rams, George Washington will have to make sure to pick up their rebounds, as Rhode Island ranks second in the conference in rebounds. The Rams will also be without their top two scorers, Jamal Wilson and Nikola Malesevic.
