Stay connected for news and updates

George Washington will look to pick up their second A10 conference victory and avoid another losing streak against the Richmond Spiders at home.

The George Washington Colonials have lost their last two games, including being pounded by Harvard on Jan. 14, and are looking to avoid another long losing streak. Prior to the Colonials victory over Delaware State, George Washington had lost seven straight games. On Wednesday, they'll be hosting fellow A10 opponent the Richmond Spiders at the Charles E. Smith Center. While the Spiders have had struggles of their own, the Colonials can pull to .500 in A10 play with a victory over Richmond.

Richmond on the other hand is coming off wins over Rhode Island and Temple. The Colonials will have to slow down the trio of Darien Brothers, Kendall Anthony, and Cedrick Lindsey. All three average double digit points per game so far on the season. Derrick Williams also averages 10 points per game to go with his five rebounds per game.
