Georgetown Vs. Louisville Final Score: Hoyas Hand Louisville Their First Loss, 71-68

The Georgetown Hoyas trailed the Louisville Cardinals by three at halftime, but in the second half were able to rally and hand undefeated Louisville their fist loss of the 2011 season, 71-68. Markel Starks took over for the Hoyas in the second half, ending the night with 20 points, including going four for four from three point range. The Hoyas offense took off in the second half, outscoring Louisville 39-33.

Kyle Kuric and Russ Smith of Louisville have the Hoyas trouble in the first half and ended the night with 17 and 14 points respectively. Louisville just could sink much from the three-point line, shooting 8 of 24 from behind the arc. Louisville was also out rebounded by the Hoyas and just couldn't get enough done in the second half to hold off Georgetown.
