The No. 9 Georgetown Hoyas are looking for their 12th win on the road in Morgantown against the West Virginia Mountaineers.
The No. 8 Georgetown Hoyas travel to Morgantown, West Virginia on Saturday to take on the West Virginia Mountaineers in WVU Coliseum at 8 p.m. ET. The Hoyas come into this game with a 13-1 record (3-0 in the Big East) while the Mountaineers are 11-4 (2-1 in the Big East).
The Hoyas are looking for their 12th consecutive win and are led by a trio of upperclassmen. Senior guard Jason Clark leads the team with 15.9 points per game, junior forward Hollis Thompson averages 13.9 points per game and senior center adds 12.1 points per game. Meanwhile, the Mountaineers are looking to win their second game in a row and are also led by three upperclassmen. Senior forward Kevin Jones averages a team high 19.1 points per game, senior guard Darryl Bryant averages 18 and junior forward Deniz Kilicli averages 11.2.
The Mountaineers may not be a top-25 ranked team, but there's no question that they won't be an easy team for the Hoyas to just roll over. This game has the potential to be really exciting.
