The Georgetown Hoyas and Indiana Hoosiers will meet in the College Cup final to decide the NCAA Division I men's soccer champion. The Hoosiers will be going for their eighth NCAA soccer title, and Georgetown will be trying for their first. The game will be played at Regions Park in Hoover, AL.
Georgetown, the third overall seed in the tournament, defeated Maryland on penalty kicks to make it to the final. It was their second win that came via penalties in the tournament, and have been living a bit dangerously since going 16-3-1 in the regular season.
16th seeded Indiana has knocked off a higher ranked team in each of their first three games in the tournament, including number one seeded Notre Dame. They've also defeated ninth seeded North Carolina, and beat Creighton to clinch a spot in the College Cup final.
The game is scheduled for 2 p.m. ET on Sunday, Dec. 9, and can be seen nationally on ESPNU.
