Big East Tournament 2012: Georgetown Vs. Pitt Time, TV Schedule, Bracket And More

Stay connected for news and updates

The Georgetown Hoyas play in the second round of the Big East tournament at Madison Square Garden Wednesday afternoon against the Pittsburgh Panthers. Tip off is scheduled for 2 p.m. broadcasting live on ESPN pending the finish of the Connecticut vs. West Virginia game. In the only meeting against Pitt this season on Jan. 28, the Hoyas lost 72-60, one of the few bright spots for Pitt this season.

The Hoyas enter this game after dropping the season finale game against Marquette to lose the opportunity of a double bye in the tournament. The Hoyas look to shake off that disappointment and make a deep run in the Big East tournament to help their potential seeding in the NCAA tournament. The winner of this game will face fourth-seeded Cincinnati in the quarterfinals on Thursday.
