The Big East released their 2012-13 schedule and John Thompson's Georgetown Hoyas will be featured prominently on national television throughout the winter. There had been rumors and speculation that Syracuse would visit DC for the final conference matchup between the Hoyas and rival Orange, and the Big East confirmed that with their release on Wednesday. As previously reported, ESPN's Gameday will also visit Georgetown for the first time, broadcasting for the 'Cuse finale at Noon on March 9. It will surely make for an unforgettable atmosphere for the final meeting between the conference's two biggest rivals.

The first leg of the final home-and-home will take place at the Carrier Dome, and CBS will cover that late Saturday afternoon clash on February 23. John Thompson's club will also be featured on Big Monday against Notre Dame and Marquette. The Hoyas complete Big East slate:
