College Football Schedule: Clemson Vs. Virginia Tech Battle In Early ACC Showdown

A showdown in Blacksburg between Clemson and Virginia Tech highlights Saturday's ACC slate.

This week's college football schedule features probably the biggest ACC game to date in Blacksburg, as Clemson travels to take on Virginia Tech. There are also a couple other big conference games. Here is the full ACC schedule for Saturday.

Wake Forest (2-1, 1-0) vs. Boston College (1-3, 0-1): Boston College finally got a win last week, albeit against a I-AA team in UMass. Still, a win is a win, and that gives them some momentum heading into their second ACC game. (Noon, ESPN3). For more on Boston College, visit BC Interruption and SB Nation Boston. Towson (3-0) vs. Maryland (1-2, 1-0): For more on this game, visit this StoryStream. (3:30 p.m., ESPN3/CSN).

Bethune-Cookman (2-1) vs. Miami (1-2): Last week's loss to Kansas State was a letdown for Miami. A loss here would be ... well, I don't even want to think about it. For more on Miami, visit 7th Floor Blog.

No. 21 Georgia Tech (4-0, 1-0) vs. North Carolina State (2-2, 0-1): Georgia Tech has been the most pleasant surprise in the ACC thus far. North Carolina State, on the other hand, got blown out by Cincinnati last week. Not a good sign for the Wolfpack. (3:30 p.m., ABC/ESPN3). Idaho (1-3) vs. Virginia (2-2, 0-1): Virginia's loss to Southern Mississippi was disappointing, but they should rebound against a horrible Idaho team. For more on Virginia, visit Streaking the Lawn.

No. 13 Clemson (4-0, 1-0) vs. No. 11. Virginia Tech (4-0): This is the big game in the ACC and one of the biggest games in the country. Clemson comes in on a high, having defeated Auburn and Florida State in consecutive weeks. Virginia Tech hasn't faced great competition, but they are at home and Clemson has yet to prove anything outside of Death Valley. (6 p.m., ESPN2/ESPN3). For more on the game, Clemson fans should visit Shakin' The Southland. For more on the Hokies, visit Gobbler Country.

Duke (2-2, 1-0) vs. Florida International (3-1, 1-1): The Blue Devils are 2-0 after an 0-2 start. Can they keep it rolling? (7 p.m., ESPNU)

North Carolina (3-1, 1-1) vs. East Carolina (1-2): North Carolina looks to rebound from its loss to Georgia Tech with a game against a pesky East Carolina squad that gave Virginia Tech a game earlier this season. (8 p.m., ACC Network). For more on North Carolina, visit Carolina March.
