As we've chronicled extensively in this StoryStream, Clemson quarterback Tajh Boyd is likely to play against Maryland after suffering a hip injury in last week's game against Boston College. Now, it has come out that Boyd will wear a hip pad this week for the game. That was something he didn't do last week.

I guess Boyd's swag really isn't an issue against a team like Maryland. This is quite the slap in the face.
