Maryland Football To Wear Black Uniforms, Black Helmets, Gold Pants Vs. Georgia Tech

Maryland Terrapins head coach Randy Edsall tweeted his team's weekly uniform update today on his Twitter account.

We'll be wearing black helmets, black jerseys, and gold pants this weekend at Georgia Tech

Now, as far as tacky uniforms go... I don't think many people can complain about Maryland's choice this weekend when they take on the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. I'm a fan of tacky uniforms, and to me, this one really isn't all that tacky. It has the classic black and gold, which is hard to go wrong with. I'm a big fan of the matte black helmets, too. Maryland's in this uniform setup is nice too, because it includes the state of Maryland seal as the line that goes across the helmet, which is a nice touch. It's tough to see what's on the shoulders in this picture, but I imagine it will be the standard pixel fade of a combination of red, black, and yellow.
