DC-area tidbits in small bites

Of all the things to get mad about with Maryland's 2-7 college football season, one that hasn't been getting nearly enough attention is the sudden absence of running back D.J. Adams in games. Nobody really knows exactly why the promising short-yardage running back has been relegated to the bench for almost the entire season, but it's happened.
All that has led to a grassroots "Free D.J. Adams" movement around College Park. Now, thanks to one brave Terps fan who is at Stanford during ESPN's College Gameday, it has gone national.
Yup, this is now a big thing.
