Maryland Vs. Northwood: Terps' Basketball Begins Season With Friday Exhibition

Maryland basketball will be in action for the first time when they take on NAIA power Northwood at Comcast Center in an exhibition game on Friday.

The Maryland basketball team will be in game action for the first time this year when they host NAIA power Northwood (Fla.) at Comcast Center on Friday night. This is the first chance to see guys like promising sophomore Terrell Stoglin, senior guard Sean Mosley, freshman Nick Faust and center Alex Len, who can play despite being ruled ineligible for 10 regular-season games.

Northwood is an NAIA power coached by the legendary Rollie Massimino. The school went 33-4 last year and made it to the NAIA semifinals. Here's more information on the game.

Where: Comcast Center.

When: 8 p.m.

TV information: The game will be broadcasted on Terps TV premium, which will cost $10.

Players to watch: This will be Terps' fans first chance to see Faust and Len in action. Northwood, meanwhile, is the preseason No. 1 team in the NAIA polls.
