Military Bowl 2011: Washington Redskins Great And Hall Of Famer Art Monk Endorses Game

Stay connected for news and updates

Former Washington Redskins and Hall of Fame wide receiver Art Monk recently did a public service announcement ad for the 2011 Military Bowl, employing fans to help out the USO and military families by buying tickets to the game. Monk also was getting the message out that there are 5,000 complimentary tickets available for active duty military.

Fortunately, the Military Bowl actually features one of the military academies in the Air Force Falcons, so one should expect to see quite a bit of Air Force fans at the game, especially given that there are complimentary tickets for active duty military personnel. This is just the second time in it's short history that a military academy has played in the Military Bowl and Air Force could be the first one to win it.
