The Maryland Terrapins were able to knock off the Albany Great Danes 83-72 in an out of conference tune up game. Maryland was able to put up 44 points in the first half, taking a five point lead into halftime. In the second half, Albany was able to keep it close but not close enough as the Terps held a comfortable lead through the second half.
Terrell Stoglin led the way for the Terps, putting up 22 points with three assists and four rebounds. In his return, center Alex Len was able to make a big impact, scoring 14 points, grabbing eight rebounds and three blocked shots. Gerardo Suero and Luke Devlin led the way for Albany, scoring 22 and 16 points respectively. Suero added another seven rebounds and eight assists.
