Jordan Williams Named As First-Team All-ACC Selection

The Maryland Terrapins had a disappointing ACC regular season in 2011, but that didn't stop Jordan Williams from being honored by ACC writers. The sophomore big man accumulated the second-most votes in the league, as he was named to the first-team all-ACC.

Williams joins Duke's Nolan Smith and Kyle Singler, Virginia Tech's Malcolm Delaney and Boston College's Reggie Jackson on the first team. Williams received 210 out of a possible 225 points, and only Smith, who was a unanimous first-team selection, earned more.

Guard Terrell Stoglin, meanwhile, earned all-freshman team honors, joining North Carolina's Harrison Barnes (unanimous selection) and Kendall Marshall, Wake Forest's Travis McKie and North Carolina State's C.J. Leslie. Stoglin accumulated 62 of a possible 75 points, fourth among those players.
