We're only minutes away from the unveiling of the new Maryland football uniforms (which you can view live on TerpsTV by clicking here), so to tide you over, the Maryland athletics Facebook page posted this picture of the team's original uniforms in 1892. Here's the caption they used:

I have no clue what the "C" stands for (maybe "Maryland Athletic Club"), but otherwise, this just reinforces my belief that college football teams should have a throwback game where they should wear really, really old jerseys and leather helmets. OK, maybe not the leather helmets
