North Carolina Vs. Maryland Score Update: Terrapins Play Inspired Ball, Lead Tar Heels 40-37 At Halftime

Stay connected for news and updates

The Maryland Terrapins are giving the North Carolina Tar Heels all they can handle in College Park this afternoon, leading the No. 6 team in the country 40-37 at halftime.

Big man Alex Len has been a difference maker for the Terrapins, scoring eight points, grabbing three boards and being a generally disruptive force with his length on the defensive end of the floor. Terrell Stoglin has scored in myriad ways for Maryland, as he often does, and has nine points on a judicious four of nine from the floor.

Tyler Zeller has led the way for North Carolina, scoring 14 points and grabbing six rebounds. Tar Heels star Harrison Barnes, who's availability for the game was in question until just before tip, has added six points but is just two of eight from the field.
