While a decision by former Maryland quarterback Danny O'Brien has not yet been done, an article by Dustin Hockensmith of The Patriot-News in Pennsylvania states that the Penn State Nittany Lions could be a possible destination for the quarterback.
Part of the reason why O'Brien could go do Penn State is that first, the Nittany Lions run a pro-style offense that O'Brien could run well. Second, new Penn State head coach Bill O'Brien is a former protege of former Maryland head coach Ralph Friedgen so his style could fit well with Bill O'Brien. Third is that the time Bill O'Brien spent mentoring Tom Brady as an assistant of the New England Patriots.
The Vanderbilt Commodores, Wisconsin Badgers and the Connecticut Huskies all have expressed interest in O'Brien as well.
