NCAA Women's Tournament 2012 Bracket And Schedule: Sweet 16 Action Begins Saturday

2012 Women's NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 play begins on Saturday, with big name players and big name programs taking the floor in the Des Moines and Fresno regions.

In Des Moines, Baylor and star Brittney Griner will face Georgia Tech after Pat Summit and her Lad Vols take on Kansas. Fresno will see the top team in the nation, Stanford, take on South Carolina and Duke face St. John's.

The No. 3 seed Maryland Terrapins women's team will tip off just after noon on Sunday, facing No. 2 seed Texas A&M in a Raleigh region matchup.

No. 11 Kansas vs. No. 2 Tennessee - 12:04 p.m. ET, ESPN

No. 4 Georgia Tech vs. No. 1 Baylor - 2:00 p.m. ET, ESPN

Fresno Region:

No. 3 St. John's vs. No. 2 Duke - 9:00 p.m. ET, ESPN

No. 5 South Carolina vs. No. 1 Stanford - 11:32 p.m. ET, ESPN2
