The sophomore forward will transfer away from Maryland. What could he bring to another team?
Sophomore Forward Mychal Parker has announced that he will transfer from the Terrapins men's basketball team, according to a tweet by InsideMDSports.com's Jeff Ermann.
As first reported on InsideMDSports last week, sophomore forward Mychal Parker will transfer from Maryland.maryland.247sports.com/Board/67/Hoops…

Parker averaged 18 minutes a game for the Terrapins this past season scoring 4.3 points per game while shooting 45 percent from the field. Parker also averaged three rebounds per game. His best performance of the season was against Duke on Feb. 11 where he scored 12 points on three-of-four shooting and hit all six of his foul shots.
Parker measures out at 6'5" and 195 pounds, so he would be a good player to perhaps play as a third guard or a small forward. The Terrapins will miss a player that appeared to be improving, but another lucky program should be able to tap into the potential that Parker has.
