2012 Preseason All-ACC Football Team: Two Maryland Players Make List

The All-ACC Preseason team was released on Wednesday. Two Maryland players, three Virginia Tech players and two Virginia players were all named to the team.

The 2012 preseason All-ACC football team was published on Wednesday and a pair of Maryland Terrapins players were selected to the list. Tight end Matt Furstenburg was named to the offensive list and defensive tackle Joe Vellano was named on the defensive list.

Other local ACC teams that have players represented include Virginia Tech Hokies defensive end James Gayle, linebacker Bruce Taylor and cornerback Kyle Fuller.

Virginia Cavaliers tackle Oday Aboushi and linebacker Steve Greer were also named to the preseason list. All of these players are ones to watch as soon as the football season begins. All of these players could be strong contributors in a big season for these schools.
