Stefon Diggs lit it up in the Maryland scrimmage, scoring twice on returns.

Maryland Terrapins football isn't far away, evidenced by their scrimmage on Saturday.

Freshman Stefon Diggs was terrific on the afternoon, scoring twice on a 68-yard punt return and a 98-yard kickoff return to electrify his teammates and coaches, according to Jeff Barker of the Baltimore Sun.

The 6'1, 185-pound youngster is providing lots of hope among Terps fans, easily being one of the biggest recruits to be landed in recent times. A four-star athlete according to ESPN.com, Diggs turned down other offers from the likes of Florida, Ohio State, California, Auburn, Florida State, West Virginia and others to stay in his home state.

Diggs hails from Olney, Md., and played high school football at Our Lady of Good Counsel. He adds a lot of versatility to the squad, having shown the ability to play cornerback, running back or wide receiver in the past with tremendous speed.
