The Maryland Terrapins are the second team from the ACC's Atlantic Division that the Connecticut Huskies will face in as many weeks, and if the first matchup is any indication, the Terps have a chance to start off what looked like a rough season with a 3-0 start.
Maryland's roster has been hampered by both injuries and transfers and registered only a single touchdown in their season opener against William and Mary, but Perry Hills impressed in his second career start. The true freshman threw for 190 yards on only 21 passes, registering a pair of scores through the air and running for a third on an 11-yard carry before halftime. Meanwhile, Connecticut pummeled a transitioning UMass team in Week 1, but matched Maryland's output from the William and Mary game against North Carolina State, failing to score for over three quarters and only running for 35 yards on 32 carries.
