Mike Green Leaves Game Against Penguins After Taking Puck To Face

Mike Green left Sunday's game with the Pittsburgh Penguins after taking a puck to the face at the end of the first period.

As time winded down in the first period, Brooks Orpik fired a slap shot from the point that caught Green above the ear. Green fell to the ice and stayed there for a few moments as blood dripped from his face. He was able to go to the locker room under his own power, but did not return for the second period.

More information will be posted here as it becomes available.
