The Washington Capitals (30-26-5, 65 pts) and Toronto Maple Leafs (29-25-7, 65 pts) clash Saturday night at the Air Canada Centre, with both teams desperately looking for a win to aid them in their quest to make the playoffs.

Both squads have 65 points on the season, both teams are 3-6-1 in their last ten games and both teams can help their playoff cause greatly with a victory. Alexander Ovechkin scored his 25th goal of the season in the win over Montreal, improving Washington's record to 14-4-2 in games in which he finds the net. Ovechkin has not scored in the two previous matchups against the Maple Leafs this season.
