The Washington Capitals play game three of their Eastern Conference quarterfinal against the Boston Bruins at Verizon Center on Monday night. The game is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. with a national television broadcast on NBC Sports Network with the local broadcast being done by Comcast Sports Network.
The Capitals will need more on offense to calm concerns about their production in the first two games. But the defense, which has helped Holtby with 49 blocks, should be able to continue to keep the Bruins off the scoreboard for the most part.
Goaltender Michal Neuvirth did practice with the team on Sunday, but there is no word yet if he will dress for game three.
