Capitals Vs. Bruins, 2012 NHL Playoffs Game 4: Alexander Semin Gives Washington A 2-1 Lead After 2

Alexander Semin scored on the power play with 1:17 left in the second period to give the Washington Capitals a 2-1 lead over the Boston Bruins after two periods of play in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals.

With Patrice Bergeron in the penalty box for hooking, Semin took a pass from Keith Aucoin below the goal line. He circled out to the left face-off circle and fired a wrist shot over the left shoulder of Tim Thomas.

The one-goal lead is the fourth the Caps have had in this series during the run of play. Each of the previous three times, the Bruins have come back to tie the score.

Boston still has the edge in shots on goal, 32-18, and will look to rally to take a 3-1 series lead.
