Tyler Seguin's scrambled goal off a Braden Holtby goal has sent the Washington Capitals and Boston Bruins into the locker room after 40 minutes of Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals with the score tied, 1-1.
Seguin's goal came with 5:33 to go in the period after Holtby let a Johnny Boychuk slapshot slip under his arm. Seguin, who was stationed on the doorstep, dove past Karl Alzner, John Carlson, and Holtby to poke the puck into the net.
After two periods of play, the shots on goal are 25-13 in favor of the Bruins.
