2012 NHL Playoffs, Rangers Vs. Capitals Score Update: Game 3 Tied At 1-1 Heading To Overtime

The Washington Capitals went down to the New York Rangers 1-0 mid-way through the second period, but were able to quickly tie the game up on a John Carlson goal, but neither team was able to break to 1-1 tie in the third period as the two teams are headed to overtime.

The teams are even just about in shots on goal, with the Caps holding a slight 29-27 lead and that doesn't look to change very much in the overtime period. One area that Caps need to worry about however, is the Rangers have dominated the face offs thus far in the game, which could potentially lead to a better look on the goal in overtime.
