Nationals Season Ticket Reps Capitalize On Bad Jayson Werth Pun

We knew it was only a matter of time before someone capitalized on the amazing coincidence that new National Jayson Werth shares a last name with something that corresponds to money or the purchase of any other goods and services. The fact that he signed a contract that many felt was obscene in terms of dollars only made it more obvious that somebody was going to jump on the pun.

As it turns out, though, that somebody just so happens to be the Washington Nationals. I expected self-important headline writers to pat themselves on the back with a "Nationals Decide Jayson Is Werth It" headline, but I expected better from the team itself. This was the slogan that appeared in an email to Nationals' season ticket holders.
