VIDEO: Philadelphia Phillies Fan Throws Back Danny Espinosa's Home Run Ball

↵

We've established that Monday's Nationals-Phillies game at Nationals Park was infested by Phillies fans, to the point where it was essentially a road game for the Nationals. Pointing this out isn't news, and one could argue it's a storyline that has been beaten to death. People get it: Phillies fans travel, and the Nationals stink.

↵

But we can't just kill the storyline without noting that one annoying Phillies fan decided to throw back a Danny Espinosa home run during the game. The moment kind of sums up the whole game experience, doesn't it? That image of the Phillies fan, egged on by his fellow fans, thinking he's so clever when he hurls that ball back in a visiting stadium, tells more than any amount of words on this tired story could.

↵

One day, when Bryce Harper and Stephen Strasburg are in the Majors, this madness will end. Until then, we just have to deal with these annoying moments.
