Wilson Ramos had a bruised shin coming into the Nationals' wild 9-4 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks. That injury didn't stop him from crushing a three-run home run one batter after Danny Espinosa was drilled in the back by Esmerling Vasquez. As it turns out, it also wasn't the reason for his slower-than-usual home-run trot.
Wilson Ramos on how bruised shin affected his slow homer trot: "It didn't hurt at all. I wanted to see those guys angry." (!)
Awesome.
