Nationals Vs. Mets Score: Ross Detwiler Dealing, Nats Lead Mets 1-0

The Washington Nationals and New York Mets are locked in a pitcher's duel on Monday night. Nationals starter Ross Detwiler is dealing while New York's R.A. Dickey is keeping pace, but made a couple of mistakes which the Nats took advantage of as Washington leads 1-0 going into the bottom of the fifth inning.

The young, Nats southpaw has gone four innings giving up only one hit and one walk. He has retired 12 of the 14 batters he has faced. The Nats have collected only three hits off Dickey who has been effective in using his patented knuckleball pitch. Ryan Zimmerman hit a single and Jayson Werth doubled. The game's lone run came off a catcher Wilson Ramos single in the top of the fifth which scored Werth who made it to third on a New York fielding error.

So far the Nationals are 1-for-4 with runners in scoring position.
