Tom Millone takes the mound hoping his second major league start goes better than his first.
Tom Milone's best moment in his first major league start last Saturday happened at the plate, not on the mound. In his first major league at-bat -- nay, his first major league pitch! -- Mllone belted a three-run home run. The only problem? He allowed four runs in four and a third innings to pick up the loss. That's unfortunate.
On Friday, he'll get a chance to redeem himself when the Nationals face the Houston Astros at Nationals Park. The game will begin at 7:05 p.m. Bud Norris, who is 6-9 with a 3.83 ERA this season, will oppose Mllone. Norris has struggled recently, along with the rest of the team.
Rookie Steve Lombardozzi will get his chance to lead off for the Nationals in this game. Here is the full Nationals lineup.
- Steve Lombardozzi (SS)
- Rick Ankiel (RF)
- Ryan Zimmerman (3B)
- Michael Morse (LF)
- Jayson Werth (CF)
- Danny Espinosa (2B)
- Chris Marrero (1B)
- Wilson Ramos (C)
- Tom Milone (P)
