Nationals Spring Training 2012: Kristina Akra To Debut Friday Night As New Nationals Sideline Reporter

There will be a new face joining Bob Carpenter and F.P. Santangelo for Nationals broadcasts on MASN in 2012, as Kristina Akra has joined the broadcasting team to fill the role of sideline reporter.

Akra comes to the Nationals with a wealth of experience including being the host of SEC Gridiron Live on Fox Sports South, sideline reporting for CoxSports and the Big East Network, and hosting Patriots Today, a daily webshow on the official website of the New England Patriots website.

She is an alumna of the University of Florida, the same school as famous ESPN sideline reporters Erin Andrews and Jenn Brown.
