Nationals Vs. Astros: Ian Desmond Gets Day Off As Nationals Go For Sweep

Ian Desmond of the Washington Nationals will get his first day off of the season on Thursday night as the Washington Nationals face the Houston Astros in the last game of a four game series. Steve Lombardozzi will get the start at shortstop as Edwin Jackson looks to build upon the complete game in his last start against the Cincinnati Reds on April 14.

The rest of Washington's lineup is as follows.

The game is set for a 7:05 p.m. first pitch from Nationals park with television coverage provided by MASN with radio coverage on 106.7 The Fan FM and 1580 WFHS AM.
