In the wake of announcing that Rick Ankiel, among others, would start the season on the disabled list, Nationals manager Davey Johnson suggested that Roger Bernadina would start the season in center field. If what happened in Monday's spring training game against the Red Sox turns out to be serious, Johnson might want to move down the depth chart a little further.
