The Washington Nationals (2-0) look to continue their early-season winning ways when they take on the Chicago Cubs (0-2) Sunday afternoon at Wrigley Field. Washington has won the first two games of the series, and are looking for their first 3-0 start to a season since 2008 and their first sweep of a series with the Cubs since 2006.

Jordan Zimmermann will take the hill for Washington. Zimmermann was 8-11 with a 3.18 ERA for the Nationals last season, but is 0-2 with a 6.00 ERA in three career starts against the Cubs.

Chicago will send Jeff Samardzija to the mound on Sunday. Samardzija has struggled in the past as a starting pitcher, but earned the No. 3 slot in the Cubs rotation with a strong spring performance, including a 16 to 1 strikeout-to-walk ratio.

First pitch Sunday at Wrigley Field is set for 2:20 p.m. ET. The game can be seen locally on both MASN HD and WDCW DC-50.
