Nationals Vs. Reds Lineup: Harper Bats No. 5, Bernadina Starts In Left For Washington

The Washington Nationals open their three-game series against the Cincinnati Reds by sending pitcher Gio Gonzalez to the hill. The Nationals, hoping to provide more offense for the pitcher, have right fielder Bryce Harper batting in the No. 5 spot in the lineup following third baseman Ryan Zimmermann at No. 3 and first baseman Adam LaRoche at No. 4.

Roger Bernadina will start in left field and bat in the No. 2 spot in the Nationals' lineup. The rest of the Nationals lineup is as follows:

Friday's game is scheduled for a 7:10 first pitch from the Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati. Television coverage will be provided by MASN 2 with radio coverage on 106.7 The Fan FM, 1500 WFED AM and 1580 WFHS AM.
