Diamondbacks Vs. Nationals: Bryce Harper Bats Third As Nationals Go For Series Win (UPDATE: LaRoche Out)

After batting seventh in each of his first four professional baseball games, Bryce Harper has been bumped up in the lineup by Nationals manager Davey Johnson.

Yup, that's Bryce Harper batting third, between Steve Lombardozzi and Adam LaRoche Jayson Werth, and playing left field.

Ross Detwiler gets the start for Washington in the rubber game of the series against Arizona's Ian Kennedy. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05. MASN has the TV coverage in the D.C. area, while the game can be heard on the radio at 106.7 The Fan, Federal News Radio 1500, and WHFS 1580.

UPDATE: Well, never mind that. It seems that LaRoche is out with right oblique soreness, according to CSN Washington Nats Insider Mark Zuckerman. Here's the revised line-up, which features Jayson Werth batting clean-up.
