The Washington Nationals are taking on the Pittsburgh Pirates on the road and the Nats jumped out to an early lead. In the top of the third inning, Wilson Ramos hit a solo-homerun to give the Nationals an early 1-0 lead. In the top of the fourth inning, Rick Ankiel singled to right field, playing Bryce Harper to give the Nats a 2-0 lead.
The Pirates were able to make that up in the bottom of the inning however, as Andrew McCutchen hit a solo-homerun to centerfield to cut the Nats lead in half, which was followed up by a solo-homerun by Garrett Jones to tie up the game. The Nats have been able to get some base runners with six hits through five innings while the Pirates have struggled to get on base against Edwin Jackson, who's given up just three hits.
