The Washington Nationals lost a heartbreaker to the Pittsburgh Pirates in Game 1 of their series on Tuesday, but they'll have a chance to even things up on Wednesday. They send Ross Detwiler out to the mound, who has been pretty excellent for a No. 5 starter (or anyone else really) so far this season. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 pm and you can find the game on MASN2.
The Nationals could have won the game against the Pirates a few times last night, but the biggest blow obviously came in the bottom of the ninth inning after the Nationals had taken the lead in the top of the frame. The Nationals don't score a ton of runs, so it hurts to lose a game when they score enough runs to win on most days. Maybe the offense will keep it going for Ross on Wednesday.
