The Washington Nationals carry the NL's best record and will look to continue their hot offense in a three game series against the Atlanta Braves.

With the National League's best record, the last thing their NL East opponents wanted to see was the bats get hot for the Nationals. But with 33 runs in a three game series against the Rockies, it appears that is exactly what happened for Washington.

Now the Nationals are going to look to continue the offensive support and help out Ross Detwiler in his second start of the month. Detwiler started on Sunday for Washington for the first time since May 25, but was unable to earn a decision as the Nats were only able to score one run in a 2-1 loss to the Orioles.

Starting for the Braves in the hopes to slow the Nationals hitters will be 22-year old Randall Delgado. Delgado has earned three straight losses including a loss to the Red Sox on Saturday in which he allowed four earned runs and was removed from the game in the second inning.

The first pitch at Turner Field will be thrown at 7:35 p.m. ET on Friday and will be televised on MASN and Peachtree TV.
