Brad Lidge Injury Update: Reliever Activated Off Disabled List, Henry Rodriguez Now On DL

Washington Nationals relief pitcher Brad Lidge was activated off of the disabled list on Thursday and will be ready to go in Thursday's game against the New York Mets. The Nationals made another announcement this afternoon as fellow relief pitcher Henry Rodriguez was placed on the 15-day disabled list.

So far this season, Lidge has made seven appearances and has two saves in four chances with a 5.14 ERA.

The reason for Rodriguez's trip to the DL is because he slammed a door on his finger, according to Washington Post Nationals writer Adam Kilgore.

Obviously now because of being placed on the disabled list, it means he will not be starting on Friday.
