Nationals Vs. Mets Lineup: Starters Announced For Game 2 Of Series

The Washington Nationals will play the second game in a three-game set against the New York Mets on Tuesday night at Citi Field in hopes of securing a series win.

Following a homer-happy win on Monday in which Gio Gonzalez picking up his Major League-leading 19th win, the Nationals have a chance to move one step closer to the postseason for the first time since they moved from Montreal.

Washington is rolling with a familiar lineup against R.A. Dickey -- in fact, it's the same lineup that pounded Mets pitching in the series opener.

  3. Ryan Zimmerman (R), 3B
  4. Adam LaRoche (L), 1B
  5. Michael Morse (R), LF
  6. Ian Desmond (R), SS

  9. Jordan Zimmermann (R), P

New York, on the other hand, will go with a much different look, as Ronny Cedeno and Scott Hairston will both watch on Tuesday with the right-handed Zimmermann going for the Nats.
