PHOTO: Clinton Portis Wears A Phillies Hat, Everyone Overreacts

So Clinton Portis wore that today at Redskins Park in a public interview session after practice. Yup, that's a Philadelphia Phillies hat, and the timing is suspect considering the Redskins are playing the Eagles this week. Because this is Washington D.C., and because athletes are supposed to show solidarity with the other teams in their region, we all freaked out.

Portis, for his part, claimed that he "just wanted to wear red," and this outfit was the only outfit he had to wear that satisfied that desire. When told the Nationals also don red, he said he didn't own a Nationals had, a fact disproved by Hogs Haven. What now, Clinton?

(Seriously, guys, it's a friggin' hat. Chill out. I hate Philly like all the rest of you, but if you're not angry that John Wall is a Cowboys fan, then you can't get angry at CP.).
